Civil rights group blasts Florida for higher suspension rate of black students
It's a trend that's prevalent all over the state and has prompted the Southern Poverty
Law Center, a Montgomery, Ala.-based group, to file formal complaints
with theU.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights against
five north Florida districts.
