Most cars sold here built in North America: Over the decade spanning 2003 to 2012, the percentage of new vehicle sales derived from North American-assembled products stayed relatively constant, declining slightly from 76.8 per cent to 73.8 per cent last year, said industry analyst Dennis DesRosiers.
